November 2006 - Draper Horizons agrees with National Instruments to provide case studies of test efforts in exchange for a license to LABVIEW software.

October 2006 - Draper Horizons purchases in cylinder pressure sensor from Optrand.

September 2006 - Draper Horizons announces it will begin development of a small-scale demonstration of the FCIC technology.  Inspired by the positive feedback from the Global Powertrain Conference, but still unable to generate funding, Sam Draper will fund the development of a sub-system test designed to generate indicative physical results.
